Violet loves cake and music... but she does NOT like parties! This beautiful story tells the tale of Violet, a young girl dealing with anxiety surrounding parties and gatherings, and how she confides in her father and finds a way to manage her anxiety.
This story is a kid-friendly introduction to mental illness and mental wellness, and can also be used with older students as well.
This package can be used with Grades 1-8 as the depth of discussion and length of writing assignments can vary depending on the age group. This book could accompany other Mental Health and wellness discussions you have with your class throughout the year, and also on days like Bell Let's Talk day.
